Behind Every Star is the Korean remake of Call My Agent, and it’s interesting to watch. The plot centers around Method Entertainment, which is an important management company that creates custom-made programs for performers and actors. The show is a mix of work-related comedy and slice-of-life The show focuses on many characters and reveals their lows and highs throughout the course.
General Director Tae Oh is smart and gentle, yet he doesn’t mind employing all kinds of tricks to get what he desires. Je-In, on the other hand, is the manager who lives in the building and has been with the company for 14 years and knows everything there is to know about. She’s extremely competitive and addicted to work. When her assistant quits and sags under the stress, Hyun-Joo becomes the rookie appointed to fill in the gap. The only issue is, she has a past relationship with the Director that will slowly be revealed over time.
There are many other shows, like Kim Jung-Don, a charming character who is an incredibly kind and compassionate worker.
