From Scratch is a series of eight episodes that follows the story of love between Lino and Amy. The series is based upon the true story of Tembi Locke, as told in her memoir of the same title. Lino and AMY initially meet after AMY is smitten and moves to Italy to learn about art. There she is introduced to Lino, a charming chef who takes her by surprise and the two begin to develop a wonderful relationship.

Netflix is yet to release an official announcement on the possibility of an additional season however we were aware right from the start that it was an exclusive series. Tembi Locke, the producer who created the show along with the show’s sister Attica Locke has not made any announcements either.

In the majority of cases, Netflix examines various metrics before renewing a show, such as the number of people who initially are watching the show and afterward, analyzing the drop-off rates. For some shows, cancellations and renewals can happen very fast (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Irregulars).
