What is White Lotus season 2 about?

White Lotus follows an anthology format. Each season, to date, has had a unique story. Both were made at White Lotus resorts located in different locations. While the first season was set in Hawaii The second season takes place in beautiful Sicily in Italy, where the majority of the original Godfather film was filmed (fun fact: they are featured in the third episode of the current season). The only two characters, Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) and Greg (John Gries) remain in the ensemble. Season 2 features tourists from foreign destinations who are going on holiday. They are the Spillers as well as the Sullivans (Aubrey Plaza and Will Sharpe, and Theo James and Meghann Fahy respectively) as well as The Di Grasso family (Michael Imperioli, Adam DiMarco, and Murray F. Abraham) are prominently featured.

It was also revealed that showrunner Mike White will be coming back as showrunner similar to what has happened in both seasons until this point. White expressed his delight about the renewal and claimed his new show would have a similar fashion and feel.
