Movies And TV Shows Coming To Sky/Now TV In October 2022

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is among the most anticipated films to be released on Sky Cinema this month and the Sandra Bullock/Channing Tatum-starring romantic film The Lost City is arriving as well. A Friend Of The Family: Series 1

Jake Lacey and Anna Paquin play the lead in this true-life thriller set in the Broberg family whose daughter was abducted repeatedly by their charming but obsessive neighbor. If you’ve seen the Netflix documentary Abducted In Plain Sight which is inspired by the same incident you’ll be aware of the circumstances that turned the family’s life upside-down.

Studio 666 (2022)

When the legendary rock group The Foo Fighters move into a dark mansion in order to record their new album Dave Grohl, who is struggling with writer’s block discovers an old reel-to-reel tape recorder, which provides him with an idea. This is great news for the band, but the downside is that Grohl becomes possessed by the spirits of the devil that dwell inside the mansion.

The Lodge (2019)

Little twins Aiden (Jaeden Martell) and Mia (Lia McHugh) struggle with the divorce of their parents. Their lives are made more complicated when they’re required to spend Christmas with their soon-to-be stepmom (Riley Keough) in a rustic lodge. Are they all compatible? Since the film was composed and directed in part by the same team who wrote and directed The Goodnight Mama another dark and bleak tale about broken family bonds You shouldn’t be expecting lots of family celebrations in this chiller that isn’t well-known.

9th October

18 1/2 (2021)

The most important secrets of Watergate are revealed in this comedy thriller about a White House transcriber who finds an audio tape of 18 minutes missing following it was discovered that Nixon tapes were discovered. There won’t be many surprises since the narrative is mostly fictitious.

11th Oc

In this Korean horror film, an ancient curse is unleashed when a massive Buddha statue is discovered in a rural town. This is a bad thing for the locals since they’re transformed into something that is not human by the soul-sucking energy which is released. Jung Ki-Hoon is the only one who is archaeologist with a specialization in the occult to come up with a solution to protect the town from being destroyed.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (2022)

The fans of Sonic games will enjoy this sequel film because it has many references to the Sega classics. This time, Doctor Eggman (Jim Carrey) joins forces with Knuckles to stop Sonic but since Sonic has been running circles around his enemies before, you can be sure it’s not going to be Eggman that ultimately gets the upper hand.

The Accursed (2022)

This low-budget horror film is the tale of a woman who has repressed a vengeful curse from her family for decades. When a family member awakens the dark forces linked to the bloodline of her mother, chaos is set to break loose. The cast, which includes Melora Walters Goran Visnjic Maiara Walsh, and Yancy Butler is an excellent choice however if you’re looking for a film that you can enjoy this Halloween you’ll find better as opposed to this predictable effort.

The Immaculate Room (2022)

Emile Hirsch and Kate Bosworth play a couple who decide to share an unfinished white space over the course of 50 days. Why? The Lost City (2022)

In this romantic action film, Sandra Bullock stars as Loretta Sage, a solitary romance writer who is swept by a kidnapping plot during her most recent book tour. She is then in the middle of the forest together with Alan (Channing Tatum) who is her character on the book’s cover. The hilarious conversation between Bullock as well as Tatum is enjoyable, however, if you’re looking for a wild adventure in the wild it’s possible to be disappointed by the film’s emphasis on the love story between the two principal characters.
