Will there be a Hocus Pocus 3? Here’s what we know about a sequel:

Fans of the 1993 film Hocus Pocus were thrilled when it was announced that the Sanderson sisters would return to make the sequel. After a wait of more than three decades, Hocus Pocus 2 finally made its debut in Disney+ (not on a Broomstick) on September 30.

If you’re a big lover of the two Hocus Pocus movies, you might be interested in a third installment. However, will there be a Hocus Pocus 3? Is this a sequel being removed from the schedule?

What is Hocus Pocus 2 about?

In 2022 just almost 29 years following that the Black Flame Candle resurrected the Sanderson sisters Three witches are revived when teenage girls Becky and Izzy find the candle in a magical shop. After they burn the candle in the spirit of the devil and accidentally trigger the sisters to go back to Salem. The scene is set for the witches Winifred, Sarah, and Mary to create their usual sort of trouble while trying to cope with the contemporary world.

It’s the responsibility of Becca as well as Izzy in order to stop snarling old crones. However, will they be successful in their quest? Will there be a Hocus Pocus 3?

“It’s an open-ended story. It’s possible that something else could happen. Both extremes of the spectrum, also. If there’s a third film, we’d become our own coven but much older and more mature, but the Sanderson Sisters could return and we’d need to be kicking their arses again…They will always be back. It’s hard to make a third film without the Sanderson Sisters since it’s their film. They’re Hocus Pocus. It’s difficult to imagine what the movie could be without Hocus Pocus. .”

It’s true that this doesn’t guarantee that a sequel could be made, however, as Peak declares, Hocus Pocus 2 is not a definitive conclusion, so don’t be discouraged if you want to meet the Sanderson sisters once more. As it was reported that the film was the highest-rated film premiere on Disney+ in the US, the chances of a sequel seem to be a possibility.

When could Hocus Pocus 3 be released?

In the same way that Bette Midler Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy aren’t getting any older (unless they truly have magical powers) Another 30 years is unlikely. “I’d like to own an entire franchise, especially the character I enjoy playing. If there were a 3rd one, I’d like to join however I’m not sure what it would be like. I’m not sure of the story might take place, however, I am in love with Winifred, Sarah, Mary, and our bond. .”

Parker seemed hopeful too. The actress told the press:

“Of course, I’d be happy to have a conversation, it just depends on what Kathy and Bette want!”

In terms of the other actors in the cast, it’s possible to be that Tony Hale would return as the town’s mayor, in the event that the film takes place in the not-too-distant future, however, it’s likely that Doug Jones would return as Billy Butcher as the character appeared to be reincarnated following the conclusion to the final Hocus Pocus movie.

What might Hocus Pocus 3 be about?

The film would feature returning the Sanderson sisters and it would be useless if it didn’t and, likely it would see the return of Becky and Izzy as well.
